REAPPRAISAL OF IPR POLICY FRAMEWORK IN INDIA

Abstract

Innovation and creativity in various aspects of society are extremely important for a country's overall growth and development. The bedrock of any nation's progress is the emergence of new creative and inventive ideas, research and development, and their application in the manufacturing of goods and services as well as in the generation of information. As a result, promoting and protecting such ideas and discoveries through intellectual property and intellectual rights is critical not just for protecting them from exploitation but also for managing them as valuable knowledge assets.
